About the Company

This website, www.cottagewellness.in, is operated by Cottage Essentials, a sole proprietorship based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, trading under the brand name Cottage Wellness. In these terms, "the Company" means Cottage Essentials, and "the Customer" means any person who uses this website or places an order on it. By using this website or placing an order, the Customer agrees to these terms.

Products

The Company describes and photographs its products as accurately as it can. The products are made in small batches from natural ingredients, so colour, aroma, taste and texture can vary slightly from batch to batch and from the pictures shown.

The products are foods and personal care items. They are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Information on this website is for general interest and is not medical advice. A Customer who has a medical condition, is pregnant, or has allergies should check the ingredients and consult a doctor before use. For personal care products, a patch test on a small area of skin is recommended first.

All the Company's oils are pressed on the same premises and on shared equipment. These include oils from groundnut, almond, walnut, sesame, mustard, coconut and other nuts and seeds. Any product may therefore contain traces of these. Customers with a nut or seed allergy should take this into account before ordering.

Prices

All prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST. Shipping is charged separately and is shown at checkout before payment. The Company may change prices at any time, but the price shown when an order is placed is the price payable for that order.

Orders

An order placed by the Customer is an offer to buy. The Company accepts it when it sends the order confirmation. The Company may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, if a product is out of stock, if there is an obvious error in the price or description, if it cannot deliver to the address given, or if it suspects fraud.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by the Company's payment partner, Razorpay. UPI, credit and debit cards, netbanking and wallets are accepted. The Company does not see or store the Customer's card or bank details.

Shipping, returns and refunds

These are covered by the Company's Shipping and Delivery Policy and its Refund and Returns Policy, which form part of these terms.

Use of this website

The Customer agrees to give accurate information when ordering, and not to misuse this website, interfere with its operation, or use it for anything unlawful. The text, photographs, logos and designs on this website belong to the Company and may not be copied or used commercially without its written permission.

Reviews

Reviews shown on this website may come from Google or directly from customers. They are the personal opinions of the people who wrote them. A Customer who sends the Company a review or comment directly allows the Company to display it on this website and in its marketing. The Company may choose not to display reviews that are abusive, misleading or unrelated to its products.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right the Customer has under Indian consumer protection or food safety law, or the Company's responsibility for harm caused by a defective product. For all other matters, including delays, the Company's liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for it, and the Company is not liable for indirect losses or for events outside its reasonable control, such as courier disruptions, bad weather or strikes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.

Changes to these terms

The Company may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of an order applies to that order.

Grievance Officer

A Customer with a complaint may contact the Company's Grievance Officer. The Company will acknowledge the complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month.
